Introducing the Club’s New Chief Officer
Dear Member,
I am pleased to inform you that earlier this month Christine McMurray joined the Club’s management team as our new Chief Financial Officer. Christine comes to the Club by way of Team Excel, where she served as the organization’s President and a member of the Team Excel board. During her tenure with the team, Christine helped to facilitate stronger communication and understanding between Team Excel and the Club. The continued partnership led to the Club recently signing a mutually-rewarding and promising 10-year agreement with Team Excel.
Outside of her volunteer work with skating, Christine has worked in the private sector, most recently as Chief Financial Officer for a Managed Service Provider in Westwood, MA and before that, as the Director of Strategic Planning and Operations with Home Box Office (HBO) in New York. Christine’s understanding of finance and financial operations are already of immeasurable value as the Club continues to grow and refine its operations.
The Club is extremely fortunate to have Christine join our professional management, and the addition of her high-level, private-sector experience to our leadership team. We are equally fortunate to have her good nature, warmth of spirit and exuberance on a day-to-day basis.
I hope everyone will join me in welcoming Christine to the Club, and saying hello when you see her walking about the facility.
