HP1240 Program Director
Simon Shnapir, HP1240 Program Director, is a two-time U.S. pair champion, and a 2014 Olympic bronze medalist. He understands the importance of attitude and approach in skating, and what dedication and commitment mean from his own experiences as a national, international and Olympic competitor.
”HP1240 is a specifically designed, comprehensive training program that puts the point of emphasis on the individual athlete and their personal goals, while encompassing all the different aspects that are entailed with achieving excellence in competitive performance.
As Director of the HP1240 program, my mission is to educate Club athletes on what it takes to perform at the highest levels of figure skating, and to support their primary training and coaching with supplementary resources and guidance. The HP1240 program is here to help our skaters find their peak performance.
I have trained and competed with skaters in every discipline and from all over the world. These experiences drive my passion, and have shaped my high standards for success. I am excited to share what I have learned with Club skaters of every level and discipline. Together, through hard work and dedication, the HP1240 program will continue the legacy of The Skating Club of Boston as one of the elite national and international training centers.”
