Dear Member,
We recently wrote you about the new requirement to add a credit card to your Activenet account as part of your Club membership obligation. This must be done before June 21, 2023, to renew your membership for July 1st. As a reminder, no member will be allowed to use any of the Club’s facilities, including ice, without an active credit card on file for the annual billing of your Club membership fee, dining obligation (if any) and any U.S. Figure Skating membership fees (if selected).
Please know that the protection of your information is of the utmost importance to the Club, and ActiveNet uses encrypted data on a secure server with only the last four digits of the card number and expiration date visible only from the ActiveNet staff site. Importantly too, no member of the Club management team ever sees your information, nor is it stored anywhere in the Club’s electronic or other files.
It is incredibly easy to add a credit card to your Club ActiveNet account. Simple instructions may be found HERE. For U.S. Figure Skating renewals only, the card on file may be charged before July 1st to keep correspondence to U.S. Figure Skating’s charges to the Club.
For those members participating in the National Qualifying Series (NQS), please note that you will not be able to participate in the Series until your U.S. Figure Skating membership has been renewed for the 2023-2024 season. The U.S. Figure Skating online registration for NQS must be completed no later than June 16th. Please make sure you immediately add a card to your Club ActiveNet account if you haven’t already so that payment can be processed and your U.S. Figure Skating renewal is complete.
We ask every member who does not already have a credit card on file to immediately take this opportunity to add a card. This will save the Club’s management team an immeasurable amount of time in following up with additional emails and individual follow-ups.
Thank you,
The Skating Club of Boston
