Member Programs, Club president Joseph Blount presenting award to young skaterMember Dinners, Send-Offs & Events

Registration for Member Programs, Dinners and Events is limited to members of The Skating Club of Boston.

If you do not see any events listed on the Member Dinners, Events & Programs web page then there are none scheduled. Please continue to check back for updates and new events.

Member Dinner announcements are posted throughout the Club, sent via email and notices are posted to the Member Dinners, Events & Programs web page and the Club’s social media accounts. If you are not already receiving email invitations, please contact the Club office at 617-782-5900.

Club Send-Offs begin at 6:30PM, with the exhibition at 7:00PM, and then dinner to follow at the conclusion of the exhibition. The schedule for send-offs, etc. may vary depending on the number of skaters exhibiting and will be listed on the event web page.

Due to the limited seating and standing room at the Club, attendance for large events is reserved for members who RSVP’d and their guests.

Special dietary requests, including vegetarian dishes, can be accommodated if made at the time of reservation.

The Club decorates for most dinners and send-offs, sometimes including latex balloons. Please notify the Club office, in advance, if anyone in your party has an allergy.

For those attending dinners and special events, kindly remember Club dinners require proper attire – no jeans, skating clothes, sweat suits, warm-ups or other casual clothing.

Refunds are not offered after registration has closed.

Attendance for events is limited to those who have registered and have received an email confirmation.

Reservations are due by the stated Registration or RSVP deadline. If an event is already closed, please call the office to inquire about a wait list.

If you did not receive an email summary of your rsvp, you and your guests are not officially registered. Please contact the Club office.

There is not an elevator in the Club. Many of our programs include off-ice activities or presentations in the second floor Lounge. Access to that space is through two stairwells. With advance notice, wheelchairs can be accommodated with a chair lift.
