ARCHIVE Center Stage of Boston

Center Stage group on iceCenter Stage of Boston is the Preliminary Theatre on Ice team of The Skating Club of Boston and 2012 National Pewter Medalists. Center Stage is open to skaters up to 18 years old. Skaters must master the skills of Free Skate 1 in the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills program, but may not have passed the Preliminary Moves in the Field test.

Our Theatre on Ice (TOI) program is ongoing from September through June, with competitions and show performances during the winter and spring. The Skating Club of Boston offers special TOI memberships to all non-members. Center Stage practices at The Skating Club of Boston every Sunday evening with schedule to be determined after the open house casting call.

For those skaters who are interested in experiencing the theater on ice team without the initial commitment, we also offer an introductory team that skates with Center Stage from September through November. Participants in this program are not required to attend casting, but must have passed Basic 4. Cutoff for completion of Basic 8 and participation in the Center Stage competitive season is December 1.
