The world stage is calling. Are you ready to answer?
Are you in it to win it? Do you already know that your interest in figure skating is to have a competitive figure skater that could be one of tomorrow’s champions? If yes, join the Club’s all-new, accelerated, fundamental training program: Tomorrow’s Champions!
Designed and directed by World-champions, Vadim Naumov and Evgenia Shishkova, Tomorrow’s Champions is a premier skating school managed by The Skating Club of Boston and based on the Russian training methods and techniques taught to Vadim and Genia in St. Petersburg, Russia. As coaches of multiple U.S. Championship gold medalists at the juvenile, novice, junior and senior level, Vadim and Genia have a proven method of success for creating champion skaters from their very first moments on the ice.
Tomorrow’s Champions is structured on an annual, two-semester schedule with each semester lasting approximately 24-weeks. Families pay an all-inclusive tuition that is more affordable than paying for all the program’s individual training components separately. The program is designed to introduce skaters to the sport and teach them the fundamentals necessary to be a successful competitive skater, while learning in groups and a team-based environment. Skaters not only learn the fundamentals of figure skating, they also develop team skills, relationship building and other social and emotional skills that are critical for success later in life. They also will have a lot of fun doing it!
The curriculum is designed for the first two years of skating and has two levels of instruction. The directors will evaluate each skater for admission considering the skater’s athletic ability and aptitude for the sport of figure skating. All skaters will learn the fundamentals of the sport from the experienced and well-trained professionals of the highly respected coaching staff at The Skating Club of Boston. To be eligible for this program, skaters should be between 4 and 7 years old as of September 1, 2020.
Importantly, the Tomorrow’s Champions’ team of instructors will be available to guide and educate parents on every step of their skating journey. Parent education about the sport of skating and the role they play is a critical component of their skater’s success.
Tuition includes the following expenses and program benefits for three training sessions per week:
- U.S. Figure Skating membership
- Ice time
- Coaching
- Off-ice conditioning classes
- Ballet and different styles of dance classes
- Gymnastics basic training
- Parent Education (special sessions)
Tuition is based on the discounted expense of Club membership, ice time, coaches’ fees and specialty classes and instruction. The Spring/Summer semester begins March 1, 2021, with registration opening in January.
