Important Upcoming Changes to Understand
to Your Club Membership

Dear Member,

At a recent meeting of the Club’s Board of Directors, the Board voted to approve important updates to the Club Rules for Finance. These proposed updates were circulated to the membership in March, with a 30-day period for members to comment. At a meeting on April 25th, the Board reviewed the submitted member comments before voting to approve the proposed updates as drafted. Please click HERE to see the updated rules that will be effective for current and new Club members, beginning July 1, 2023.

Based on the comments received, the Club wants to reiterate that the only charges that will be automatically charged to a member’s credit card on file will be: 1.) the annual membership fee; 2.) annual dining obligations (if included in your membership type); and 3.) any annual U.S. Figure Skating membership fees (if elected). Charges for ice contracts and other Club services and products may be put on a member’s Club account for payment by their preferred method.

Later this month, you will receive an email with instructions on how to add a credit card to your ActiveNet account if you do not have one on your account already. All members must have an active card on file with the Club and the above annual fees will be charged to that card by July 1, 2023, before their membership privileges can continue.

If you have any questions about these new rules, please contact the Club at club.info@scboston.org and a member of the Club management team will get back to you.

Thank you,

The Skating Club of Boston
