Amanda DeAguila

Personal Profile:
As a competitive figure skater, I grew up skating on the south shore of Massachusetts and in Boston. I am a Gold Medalist in Freestyle and Moves in the Field in United States Figure Skating. I have over 16 years of experience in coaching figure skating, group classes, and off-ice.

The levels of skaters I work with range from beginners up to Regional, Sectional, and National Level Competitors. I offer multiple training paths for competitive and recreational figure skaters. Currently, I hold a Ranking of Level III with the Professional Skaters Association, which is a recognition of my skater’s accomplishments. In 2013 I passed my Professional Figure Skating Basic Accreditation and I am Master Rated in Sports, Science, and Medicine. During their 2015/16 season, I was the Coach of the Providence College Figure Skating Team. For 7 years I coached Theatre on Ice Teams and lead them to three national titles in the Open division and one National bronze medal in the adult category.

When not at the rink I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. We love exploring the outdoors and you can always find us at the beach!

Coaching Philosophy:
My goal is to provide every skater with every opportunity available to them in figure skating.
