The Skating Club of Boston is recognized as a tax-exempt entity pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Federal Internal Revenue Code and as such a donation may be tax-deductible as a charitable donation. The Skating Club of Boston’s Tax Identification Number is 04-1839710.
Richard T. Button Trophy Room
The Richard T. Button Trophy Room, the home of the Button-Salchow Trophy, honors one of the greatest athletes in the history of the Club and the sport of figure skating.
Tenley E. Albright Performance Center
The Tenley E. Albright Performance Center celebrates one of the Club’s most distinguished members, Dr. Tenley E. Albright.
2016 World Championships Scholarship Fund
Support the Club’s skaters and the costs associated with athlete training through the 2016 World Championships Scholarship Fund.
Youth in Sport
The Skating Club of Boston Youth in Sport initiative provides support for city youth and local skaters learning, appreciating, and excelling in the sport of figure skating.

Donor Recognition
Donor Wall
Gifts of $5,000 or more will be permanently recognized on the Club’s Donor Wall located in the West end of the Club’s main lobby. The Club’s Donor Wall has been intentionally designed to reflect the ongoing generosity of friends of The Skating Club of Boston. All gifts greater than $5,000 are recognized on the wall regardless of the intent of the gift.
Take Your Seat
The Tenley E. Albright Performance Center, the Club’s 2,500 seat arena, hosts traditional Club events like Boston Open in addition to other local, national, and international events. Join Tenley and be witness to the next one hundred years. Each Performance Center seat is a tax-deductible donation of $1,000 that helps support the Club and its mission.
Donate Goods
The Club is grateful to have an extensive collection of books, medals and other skating memorabilia generously contributed by its members. To learn more about donations of goods to the Button Trophy Room, click here. All other inquiries can be directed to the Club’s Historian, Jane Piercy.
