Ice Reservations

Restricted Ice Policy (Effective July 1, 2026)

As we enter a new Olympic quadrennial and renew our focus on the needs of our high performance athletes, eligibility for Restricted Ice will be limited to skaters who are consistently landing all triple jumps and who qualified for the previous season’s U.S. Figure Skating Championships or their respective National Championships.

The session is restricted to high-level skaters as determined by the Club’s High Performance Directors in consultation with Club management.  Coaches may request access for these sessions directly to the High Performance Directors, which may or may not be approved based on any number of variables, including number of skaters on the session, and the level, overall strength and consistency of athlete and record of competitive performance.

Please note that the operation of each Restricted Ice session, including music rotation and overall session management, is at the discretion of the Club’s High Performance Directors.

The Restricted Ice Approved List will be posted onsite at The Skating Club of Boston. For additional questions, contact the Club Office. We appreciate everyone’s support and understanding as we continue to provide a world-class training environment while striving for excellence in everything we do at The Skating Club of Boston.
