Personal Profile:
Brad began skating at the age of 8 after watching the likes of Paul Wylie and Nancy Kerrigan train near his summer home on Cape Cod each summer. He went on to become an 8 time Eastern Sectional Competitor, a Senior Regional Medalist, and a Junior National Pairs Competitor with his previous partner, Marissa Castelli. After having graduated from Wheaton College with a BA in Psychology in 2009, Brad turned his attention to training full time and coaching in rinks across Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

In 2014 and 2016, Brad was named first alternate for the US National Figure Skating Championships in the Senior Division. Following his competitive retirement in 2016 he turned his attention to full time coaching and began raising skaters from learn to skate to sectional competitors. In 2015 he was presented with an opportunity to co-produce the Providence Tree Lighting Ceremony with two time Olympic medalist and friend Michelle Kwan. Since then, he has produced skating shows all over the region, including benefits and fundraisers, which have featured skaters such as 2 time Olympic Medalist Nancy Kerrigan, National Silver Medalist Ross Miner, World Competitor Richard Dornbush, Olympic Medalist Marissa Castelli, World Champion Kimmie Meissner, Olympic Medalist Ashley Wagner, and many more. He has also skated in several professional shows including Dick Button’s Art of Figure Skating Exhibit in NY in 2017.

In 2019, he become a staff member at The Skating Club of Boston and a member of their Theatre on Ice coaching team. He is co-head coach for their Prelude of Boston team and assists their Junior team, Act I of Boston, which won the silver medal at Nations Cup in Epinal France in April 2019. He also skated on the clubs Senior team, Forte of Boston, which also won the silver medal at Nations Cup and later became the 2019 National Theatre on Ice Champions.

Brad is very fortunate in his skating career to have trained with, and collaborated with his sports idols such as Paul Wylie, Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan and wants to pass on these experiences to students. Today, he coaches skaters of all ages and ability at the Skating Club of Boston and also enjoys doing choreography on the side.
