Louann Donovan Hogberg
Louann Donovan Hogberg began skating at the age of 6 after watching Nancy Kerrigan in the 1992 Olympics. At age 9, she became a member of the Club and enjoyed a successful competitive career under the tutelage of Evy and Mary Scotvold. Louann was the 2002 United States National Junior Ladies Champion, two-time World Junior Championships competitor, and 2004 Nebelhorn Trophy Champion. During her time as a member of the U.S. Figure Skating Team from 1999-2004, Louann competed and medaled in numerous National and international events.
Louann now enjoys a career within business strategy and analytics where she has worked for several iconic New England brands like Dunkin’, Ocean Spray, and CVS Health. Louann lives in Foxboro with her husband Eric and two children, Ava and Benjamin. She looks forward to watching Ava skate at the new Norwood facility and loved being able to skate with her daughter during the last skate at 1240 Soldiers Field Road, a place where Louann grew up, made life-long friends and ever-lasting memories. With her husband growing up on skates as a hockey player, the ice also isn’t far off in the distance for her son Benjamin, which has Louann looking forward to family skates at the new Club for years to come!
