The Skating Club of Boston® is home to Team Excel Synchronized Skating and supports them in their mission to promote synchronized skating and prepare high-quality synchronized skating teams for national and international competition. Team Excel strives to achieve their mission whilst creating an environment that supports the personal growth and development of confidence in their athletes.
Synchronized skating is a team sport in which 8-20 skaters perform together in unison. It uses the same judging system as singles, pairs and dance and is characterized by teamwork, speed, intricate formations and challenging step sequences.
Team Excel Synchronized Skating is comprised of 12 competitive teams ranging from Snowplow Sam to the Adult level.
