Personal Profile:
Heidi began her competitive skating career at the Skating Club of Boston in 2008. Her skating accomplishments include Collegiate Champion, International competitor, 3-time Senior Ladies National competitor, 8-time sectional competitor, and 11-time regional medalist. Heidi was also a member of the Boston University Figure Skating team where she led her team to win two Collegiate National Championships. She is currently a member of the Senior Theatre on Ice team, Forte of Boston. In addition to her illustrious competitive career, Heidi has headlined skating shows and was the skating double for Margot Robbie in the movie “I, Tonya”.

Heidi began coaching in 2015 at The Skating Club of Boston. After graduating from BU in 2021 with a BS in Human Physiology, Heidi turned her focus towards coaching full-time. In addition to her skating and coaching, Heidi also works at Newton Wellesley Sports Medicine and volunteers at Perkins School for the Blind. Heidi will also be the head coach of the Preliminary and Introductory Theatre on Ice teams, Center Stage of Boston, and Debut of Boston.

Coaching Philosophy:
My coaching philosophy stems from my personal experience as a competitive skater. I want all of my students to find it fun to work hard. I accomplish this by being positive, and patient and spreading my passion for the sport on to all of my students. My favorite aspect of coaching is watching my students develop both on and off the ice.
