Skating is more than just a sport to me; it is a way to develop lifelong skills in an exciting and challenging manner. Having been skating since I first learned how to walk, I found it an encouraging sport that allowed me to learn how hard work, dedication and perseverance help a person accomplish their goals. I used these skills to become a teacher, award winning reading specialist, and a mom of three successful boys.

My goal is for every person who puts on skates to reach their true potential on and off the ice. Through hard work and dedication, they will enhance their self-confidence and feelings of empowerment. My skaters are encouraged to take these attributes and apply them to other parts of their lives.
Just like real life, success in figure skating is best achieved with a good solid foundation. I aspire to help skaters develop superior basic skills so they can achieve their highest potential.
