Rebecca Stump

Personal Profile:
Rebecca is a Professional Skaters Association (PSA) Master rated coach in Moves in the Field, Group and Synchronized Skating, holding a Level V Ranking. She is the first Vice President of the PSA and has been coaching figure skating since 1975. Rebecca brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role at The Skating Club of Boston, from freestyle skating, moves in the field and group lessons, to synchronized skating and theatre on ice.

She has coached various levels of synchronized skating teams and theatre on ice teams which have qualified and medaled at U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships, U.S. National Theatre On Ice Championships and international competitions. Currently Becky serves as the Coaching Director for the Club’s Theatre On Ice program, Theatre On Ice of Boston. The program has a longstanding history of success with 7 teams and numerous national and international titles. With over 45 years of coaching experience, she has specializations in group and Synchro teams that enhance our theatre on ice program focusing on program growth, development and experience across all levels and disciplines.

Outside of the Club, Rebeca enjoys theatre, reading, boating, and skating outdoors!

Coaching Philosophy:
My first priority as a coach is to share my passion for figure skating with my students. I work hard at building a positive self esteem within my students through constructive criticism and positive reinforcement. I am mindful of helping each skater become the best they can be in any discipline of figure skating while at the same time building the strong life lesson skills one can learn through the sport.
