Serhii Vaypan

Personal Profile:

Serhii Vaypan, Olympic and World figure skating coach, proficient in the development of figure skaters from beginner to elite levels including Four Continents Championships, ISU Grand Prix, ISU Junior World Championships, ISU Junior Grand Prix, and the Olympics. With 30+ years of coaching experience, skilled in teaching fundamentals of skating, jump technique, spins, choreography, and off-ice conditioning to match a competitive figure skater’s individual talents.

Outside of skating, Serhii loves to spend time with his wife and two daughters. While young Daria enjoys practicing her skating skills in the Club’s Tomorrow’s Champions Program, her big sister Anastasia is a current international and world pair skating competitor representing Great Britain. Shared goals are spent with his wife Irina, a former rhythmic gymnastics Ukrainian National Champion, a ballet soloist, and a performer at numerous dance shows throughout Europe.

Formal Education:
Master’s Degree from the Ukrainian University of Sports
